The donor network
Who funds Boston politics, and how those contributors connect to committees, vendors, and city decisions. This view is assembled from public campaign-finance filings only. We map relationships that the records show; we do not infer intent or imply impropriety from lawful giving, and donor findings are review-gated before publication.
Donor and vendor relationships
We link donors to the committees they give to, and committees to the vendors and consultants they pay, using itemized OCPF and FEC filings. When a person appears in more than one role (for example, both a donor and a city vendor), the Reality Graph surfaces that overlap so it can be examined directly against the source records.
Every relationship carries its sources and a confidence score. Patterns are described factually, with their date ranges, and never presented as allegations without specific, sourced support.
